While I wouldn't say SS2 is a completely dark and brooding game, it does a fantastic job of creating this horrific atmosphere where you're gripped by the fear of the unknown and that of isolation, and so you would expect the game to end on some truly horrific or pessimistic note. But i haven't really seem anyone say that they dislike it at all. I have seem alot of people who said "they loved the ending, even though everyone else hates it". It was a well delivered atmosphere and the world was not only convincing, but also engaging.īut then in the ending scene they're just going for. The game up to that point was pretty serious in tone and i loved that. Just finished the game an hour ago and I really enjoyed the buildup to the last fight and the fight itself, but the last cutscene really threw me off. ![]()
